Grinding is one of the complex machining process which is often the last process in any component machining. The variables in grinding process include the machine, the component characteristics, grinding wheel selection, grinding parameter selection, wheel dressing , coolant & coolant pressure and gauging systems. The grinding process requires a thorough understanding & optimization of these variables. Since grinding is a finishing process, its optimization & effective utilization of grinding machines is of prime importance to reduce & control cost.
The objective of this seminar is to ensure that participants are exposed through discussions with experts to various tools & skill sets for optimizing the grinding process.
** Note : Factory visit of participants will be subjected to the approval of the hosting industry.
