Hands-on training in Industrial Automation and controls - IMTMA/A011

Programme Background

Automation has become integral part of all manufacturing and process Industries to achieve higher productivity and cost control. The range of automation tools vary from simple, low-cost equipment to highly sophisticated and expensive systems. Appropriate level of automation reduces cost in manufacturing not only through increased productivity, but also improves quality through consistent and reliable production. For effective Industrial Automation systems, several aspects such as selection of automation elements, system integration and organizational environment need careful consideration.

Focusing on applications of various elements used in Industrial Automation viz. Hydraulic & Pneumatic elements, PLC circuits, VFD and Servo Drives, HMI, Sensors, etc., The key aspect would be practical with hands-on exercises and adequate theory sessions..
