Design of Spindle - Specialization
Duration : 6 Days
|
|
|
INTRODUCTION
The Machine tool spindle is most sophisticated member in machine tool and plays a vital role for better performance, higher efficiency and accuracy. Design of spindle is very important and a critical activity of machine tool design process. Spindles are integral part of the machine tool and responsible for quality of the final product produced and overall productivity of the machine tools. It is very essential analyze and optimize the design for low cost and better performance. Sizing of the spindle for machine capability in terms of dimension, power, speed, force and accuracy are the key challenges for machine designers for right machine and right application. Understanding the spindle design process is the first step for overall machine success.

IMTMA DESIGN INSTITUTE: The rapid growth and emergence of new shining stars on the Indian Machine Tool panorama has created the need for a new breed of machine designers. Designers whose machines stand abreast with pride along with the designs of established international machine tool manufacturers.
Designers, with a systematic approach; who are equipped with a 360 degree view - from the fundamentals to the finished machine design. In view of this, IMTMA has again taken a positive initiative in providing state of the art facilities and industrial expertise to establish a high-end Design Institute for the cause of moulding fresh engineers into systematic machine tool designers. The IMTMA Design Institute aims to extend the training programmes to the machine tool and other companies for the benefit of training their fresh hires and nominated individuals into productive and highly efficient machine tool designers.”
VISION:
- To establish a world class Design Institute which breeds “Machine Tool Designers”, with sound design knowledge & capable to take up the design task with confidence.
- To Create “MACHINE TOOL DESIGNER TALENTED POOL” that can be tapped by the Industries for plug & play from first day.
